FAQ.

How do I sign up for a class?

Either via the Mindbody app or via the ‘Timetable’ button on our website. We highly encourage pre-booking your classes so that we can provide you all with a smooth check in process upon arrival at the studio, and to ensure you don’t miss out on a mat!

Do your classes start right on time (ie. can i rock up a few minutes late)?

The door to the studio will be locked at 1 minute past the scheduled start time for the class and unfortunately we won’t be able to permit late entry once a class has started, so please aim to arrive with at least 5 minutes up your sleeve.

How do I book a class with Concession pricing?

Concession pricing is not available for purchase online. Please email hello@goodfolkyoga.com.au to make a purchase with Concession pricing. We require photo ID/proof to be emailed to us which you will also need to bring along with you to your first class. See below ID requirements:

Full time students: photo ID card showing card expiry date

Healthcare/pension cardholders: ID card

Yoga Teachers: proof of 200hr YTT certification

Where can I park?

We have plenty of on street paid parking in surrounding streets as well as an all day carpark right next door. There are also 2P parks in Moorabool and Little Myers St (within a 5 minute walk of the studio)

I’m pregnant, can I practice yoga at Good Folk?

Congratulations! Yes you absolutely can, however we suggest you consult your Doctor first. If you are practicing with us during your pregnancy please let your teacher know at the start of class so they can provide appropriate/safe modifications for you.

Do you have shower facilities?

No sorry guys, we don’t.

Do I need to BYO mat and props?

Nope! We’ve got this one covered guys, all mats, blocks and bolsters are provided.

Are the classes heated?

No. The studio room will be kept at a nice pleasant temperature. We have an air-con and fans to cool us down in the summer months and heating to keep us warm in winter.

I’m not very flexible and/or I’m new to yoga..

*99% of people who have never tried yoga before believe they aren’t flexible enough to practice yoga.

*We made this statistic up, but we’ve found most people who have never tried yoga believe you need to be flexible to be ‘good’ at it. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Sure, Yoga helps improve your flexibility, but there are so many other amazing benefits that people of all shapes/genders/ages/flexibilities can experience.

How do I redeem my gift voucher?

Gift Vouchers can be redeemed for any Casual Class, Class Pass or Membership. You can use the gift voucher code on the Mindbody app when purchasing a pricing option or when purchasing a studio pass on our website. If you have any issues redeeming your voucher you can get in touch via email!
